Red Palm Question??

Does anyone know the properties of Red Palm? More specifically the toxicity etc..? I am asking because a guy is making me these pendants that are supposed to help with balance and something with the heart chakra or something like that. He did a deminstration on me and I saw and felt it work. The problem is, I gave him a bunch of wood and told him my girlfriend want the red palm in a heart shape. He is unsure about its properties but knows the more toxic the wood, the less it will work.. Thanks in Advance..

I can't imagine it is very toxic at all, but wouldn't know. The only thing I know is that it can give you a splinter unlike any splinter you ever experienced before!
