I just completed this cat pen from PSI for a friend. The oak (from Spain and 160 years old at the time of use) was left over from the construction of the San Salvador replica. This ship was completed and went into service in San Diego in 2015. This was the ship that Cabrillo sailed into San Diego Bay back in 1542. A buddy of mine was on the build crew and managed to pick up several scraps for me. Kate Harrow (Bullseye Turning Supply) did the casting for me.
