Rattlesnake skin

I was given a 30", prarrie rattler I think, snake skin for Christmas. It is all tanned and ready to go but I have no idea how to cast it. How should I store it until I learn how to do it. I cast but have never tried anything that has to be glued to the tube.

you can use a number of products...

obviously cut it just over the barrel for size... you can either stitch it up clue it what ever on the ends... as they will be cut off.. I have tried with just normal leather to use photo spray to hold it onto the barrel and ensure you get a nice cut/ straight edges so that it doesnt show when its finished...

you can also use CA but I have read some reports saying it can show or cause a few bubbles if not correct.

Right now I just want to know how to store the skin dry. A Ziploc?

rolll it up...do not fold and do not sit anything on top of it to flatten and put creases in it.
