The benevolent dictator must have put in a long night again!!!!

If you choose "active topics", they are now sorted by forum!!! If you LIKED the way things were, choose "New posts" - the entries are in chronological order and the fora are mixed!!!

I tell you, you ask for something around here and, in a few days it is accomplished!!!!

THANK - YOU JEFF!!!!

One of your loyal peons (not, however, a sycophant)

She was hoping to achieve a higher level of vocabulary and so, got on this topic, Roy.

Basically, she wanted to go higher ----- ele (from elevate)
and got on the "follower" trend ---------phant (one who follows)

So, I guess, for today, she is striving to be an "ele-phant"!!!

(Ducks under the desk, hoping she won't find me!!)

Did anyone also notice the "similar threads" box at the bottom of the page when viewing a thread?

It was a quick fix. There is a poorly documented option to do the sorting.

Jeff; I was once configuring a Windows server, and didn't understand what the impact of a setting of "Y" or "N" meant, so I pushed the F1 key..

Jeff; I swear to god, the help said "Press 'Y' for yes, 'N' for no"!!!!!!!!

Only after you mention it!!!

The two threads it offers have no connection to this subject matter, as far as I can tell.

Also, it will bring up threads that have been idle for nearly a year. People will comment on those threads and they will become "active topics" again. The format of the old forum apparently left some interesting NEW characters when viewed in the NEW format.

Just a few thoughts for your consideration, BD!!! (Benevolent dictator)

Signed,
Troublemaker!!

That's American, what's the problem???

We ask copiers for similar information and the answer was "light goes on, light goes off, goes on, goes off".

Took us a while to translate to: light blinks.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I think it's a great addition to the forum. And I'm glad you all just didn't call Jeff an eunuch

Good points. I turned that feature off until I can tighten up the relevance and eliminate the display of old threads.

All this chaos aside, I too would like things in last post date order. I love newcomers and OPP (other people's pens) but 5 pages to a post about penturning is pushing it.

R.I.P. (Resinator in pieces) when Dawn sees this post.

ROTFLMAF!

You know, I never thought too much of Ed's avatar. Maybe this could be his new one!:biggrin::biggrin:

I come to America, have trouble with car. Bad for brakes, bad for tires.
Neck get sore so much. Take too long to go through intersection.
America have too much blinking red lights.
