From all the shipping experts here, what would be the best way to send a large amount of money to someone else?
I checked on the USPS website and couldn't come up with a good way that ensures it would arrive.
Any suggestions??

Western Union, requiring an id for pickup..
BUT usually when someone asks this question to me, I have to ask WHY? Not for a lost bank account or a purchase of a expensive item that is not local..

WOW! I can hand deliver it cheaper, including fuel, food and lodging.

As for USPS and UPS, I find their websites less than user friendly. Probably just me, but they just don't have the information I need.

Depends on how large, I do email money transfers through my bank all the time. The recipient needs a password you supply to them to be able to transfer the money to their account. One of my banks charges $1.5 for them and the other gives me 2 free per month. Of course you have to both be set up for online banking for this.

I have used a Money order and usps with a signature pick up and delivery conformation. You can send me one just to be sure it will work if you like!!!!

Safest and quickest way is to wire transfer to there bank account. Just need a routing number and account number and you are all set!!

I do this all the time and have never had a problem.

They sell prepaid credit cards. U buy the card, load it, and send it ceritified mail. They charge a first time transaction fee, then , 1 or 2% of each addishional trans.
But you can take it to any bank and cash it all out. By the way, These are untrac-able
