What do you use to glue aluminum to wood?
I use 15 min myself, because overkill is simply a good starting point.I use 5 min epoxy
This is true with any type adhesive. This is why have abit of tooth between surfaces gives the glue a place to settle in and actually gives more glue surface. It is a fine line we walk when gluing things in the shop. One thing to keep in mind with epoxy is not to clamp the heck out of it. It needs to have a film of glue between the materials to hold and if clamped to tight the joint will be "dry", therefore weaker.
