Question On Labels

:confused:Ok so I am going to do some label casting and I am wondering how do I determin the width of the label so I dont get overlap length is easy a little long then the tube its the other that is giving me trouble is there any help out there?

From what I have read here, there should be a small overlap of the seam or the label tends to pull apart along the seam. I roll the tube into a piece of the paper in question and mark about 1/32 - 1/16 extra past the overlap. I then cut it square to the other side and use this as a templet to size the label. Try a few test labels before casting to get the feel. be sure to have a slight overlap.

One thing you may want to do is before you put your label on is to get a pen the same colour as your label and colour the side that will be the over hang. As per pic.
