I need some pens. I noticed Rizheng has them very cheap. Do you have to order like 100 do get that discount? The slimline are about $1 apiece. Also, what is the shipping on that? Say I ordered 10 slimlines. What would it cost to ship it here? I actually have a whole bunch of stuff I need from there like:pen boxes, blanks, and kits. Thanks ahead!:D[?]

They have a selection of kits and supplies that they sell at no minimum as far as I can tell. Several have ordered so maybe they can shed some light. I've heard complaints about the kits they are selling to us this way. The complaints have been about the lower quality. Contact them with what you want to order and I think they will tell you want it will cost...both mdse and shipping. Log into their site and you will get regular emails from them.

Someone who has ordered help out and give Jared the info he seeks.

Do a good turn daily!

Jared, Rizheng has two websites. One is the wholesale side where the minimums are 1000 units per kit, per plating. The retail site, where you probably got the the $1.00 price for the slimlines, allows you to order any amount. However, there is a catch...... the base cost for shipping, and it is express shipping, is $21. As you order different items and quantities this amount changes. Let me give you a couple of examples from my orders:

1. $29.27 in product, $27.70 for shipping = $57.40 total (30 items) - almost a $1.00 markup per dollar spent.
1. $80.52 in product, $34.40 for shipping = $114.92 total (213 items) - almost a $0.45 markup per dollar spent.

If you have a quantity of items to buy, Rizheng can be a great deal. Buying very small quantities really doesn't make sense.

PS... you can create an order and their shopping cart will tell you exactly how much the shipping and total will be. When done, just clear the cart.

I have ordered from them, mostly small orders. As mentioned they have a high shipping cost, but their stuff is good. My problem is that i always get hit with large Import Tax, along with heavy shipping it makes it not worth me sending in an order.
Yesterday the boss Jack emailed me to ask why i have not ordered for some time. Explained about tax bills, but he said that mostly all his customers never get tax bills, i was taken at random.
I have been hit with large Import Tax every time i order. who do i beleive????:(

Why would you want to make cheap pens????
I had some of there kits from a reseller----14% of them went into the trash and I don't buy from that reseller any more.

These kits are not worth the money they are charging. I got 200 before Christmas and still have most of them. Plating was bad and the nib was to large. Do yourself a favor and buy better kits, you will be much better off than trying to save a few bucks.

Their kits are very inexpensive, but shipping from China can be a killer.

As someone else mentioned, the best thing to do is to use their shopping cart to calculate your order cost after shipping. Then compare this amount to other providers, such as WoodnWhimsies.

As for their quality, I haven't noticed any problems. Their kits appear to be the same quality as other providers, such as WoodnWhimsies, although I haven't ordered any of their black enamel or copper kits as I've had enough trouble with those from other sellers that I no longer buy them from anyone. I've bought a number of their blanks and have been very satisfied.

Their shipping is expensive, but it is fast. I think that I've received every order within three days. Their service appears to be very good. They respond to emails quickly and will work to correct any problems, as evidenced in Daniel's recent barrel trimmer buy.

I forgot to mention one other thing about this company.

The way their ordering works is that you submit your order and they email you with an invoice and let you know which items are out of stock so that you can make changes. This can be frustrating if you are doing a group buy, but I prefer it to companies that let you pay for items that they don't have and then make you wait for weeks for them to come in.

Just a note. I do not use their pen kits.
The blanks that they sell are just as good as i have had from other suppliers.
