Question about pendants

Hi Jamie,
I believe quite a number of people have used an overhand knot method such that each end of your cord forms a slipknot on the other end. This makes the necklace length adjustable. There are some more decorative knots you could use in this application. I had tried that but I found it too itchy due to my adding a drop of CA glue to the cord end to prevent fraying so what I did was get two wooden beads (plain ones they have for kids) painted them black and knotted the cords through those in the same manner as for slipknots. If you turned two beads from your pendant wood, this could become part of your necklace if you had a long enough cord and glued the free end inside the beads.
Hope that helps,
Maria
