I'm just re-visiting (sorta) a conversation about quality 7mm (Slimline) mechanisms / transmissions. I see several "spare part" replacement 7mm mechanisms for sale at various suppliers, like Exotic Blanks, WoodCraft, Craft Supplies USA, and WoodTurningZ. Does anyone know if these are just generic, run-of-the-mill, parts or do some of them come from manufacturers know to have superior quality and performance like those that have some kind of detent built in? I would be interested in having a supply of those that are of known high quality -- sort of like swapping out the factory refills with high quality Schmidt brand refills. Dave
