yes,I was showed the trick, now when pouring i got small pvc for slim and euro pens, and 3/4"for others,I put 4together and stickin a 2"pvc piece about 2"tall to hold them, really tape them up good on the bottom, I found out that when i use 4 i stuff and tape around the sides, and fill holes. That way i can pour some really good mixes, just grab 3 cups of mix and just pour on top, it goes in all 4 and really makes some good blanks, then put them under a clear tub with a toaster oven at 150 degrees, I put it on the side and let it cook and heat up for 3 hours, then take tape off,use a bolt and knock them out from the bottom, really pretty,
I do not know about under pressure pot

I've used some 3/4" pvc cut to 6" lengths and had worked out fairly well. Just put a 3/4" pvc cap on the bottom and it seals very well.

I have never used a release agent and I have never had any problems getting the blank out. Just knock it out with a dowel rod or equivalent.

what release agent do you use

One of the fun things about PR...well can suck too...is that it shrinks! So it draws in on itself and releases from the sides. What I do in the pressure pot is cap the end with a PVC cap. Round plywood or whatever you like with holes drilled. Put the tubes in the holder, pour your PR, put it in the pot, set it and forget it!
