Pump Saver Chamber

Can some body tell me what ,why, how a pump saver chamber is. Does it hold a vacuum ,so that you pump doesn't have to run as long,or what?

I believe that it keeps any liquid from getting into your pump.

Yep, think of it as a catch basin for overflow... you don't want any of those resins in your pump housing...
