Just a reminder that cell phone numbers go public next month,this means numbers being released to telemarketing.
YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS.

To prevent this,call the following number from YOUR CELL PHONE :
888-382-1222.
This is the National Do Not Call list,It only takes a bit of time and it blocks call for five years. You MUST call from the cell phone that you wish to have the number blocked.

I did this and it took about 20 sec.

Thought some might be interested in this.

I love Snopes. I get whacky emails from my in-laws about everything from "aliens have landed" to "perfume salesman are hijacking cars"! I mean, most of the stuff doesn't pass the smell test, but that doesn't stop them from passing them on.

This particular one though has some good stuff in it. I'm not sure I've registered my cell phone on the Do Not Call list, and I will do that today. For that, Perry, I'm thankful!

Once again, this is false. If you receive anything via e-mail that says to pass on to everyone you know, more than likely, it is a hoax. It is always good to check Snopes.com before posting to make sure.

.... soooooo are you saying the it is okay to flash my headlights at somebody whose driving at night with their lights off???? And, they're not gonna beat me up because it's some gang initiation???? :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Perhaps not a gang, but maybe some good ole boys having a little fun.
 
By the way Snopes reads, if someone calls and gives their cell phone number, they are gonna get calls!
