Amazing what businesses will do for money. The fine for each incident outta be $100,000.
Make it too expensive for them to risk it.

That's why I do all my jeep's servicing myself and don't let my mom take her car to a place to have stuff done.

This isn't the first, there was Sears years ago and 60 Minutes had a bunch... Who do you trust? Well other than God...

The only place my wifes Jeep Liberty goes is the Chrysler service center at the dealer. It's under warranty and if they don't do the service we pay for, and it breaks down, they get to fix it. Besides, they have always been very good to us. We have been going there for 10 years.
My Ford Ranger goes to a local guy for oil changes, but I watch the entire process. Everything else I do myself.

I take ours to Super Lube .. but I stand right there and watch them.

it's things like this is why there are many places that have huge windows in the customer lounges that let you see directly into the work area where your car is.
