The cap just slides on the back to post.
Derek, Pelikan is a German pen comapny.
This is a special edition in the Pelikan line. For those that are familar with Pelikan, the pen size is between a 6xx & 8xx series.
They just shipped last week. Here are a couple of pics I took from my stock.
