I can't remember which of the threads a liquid type sealant was discussed. So I thought that I would just put it out as a stand alone.

It is good to 2000PSIG stays pliable, and can be removed with out a lot of trouble.
Since the makers of plasma cutting torches suggest that the plumbing/gas sealing tape not be used as any little bits will cause problems in the torch head.
This stuff is great, plus you can pick it up at Lowes in the plumbing dept.

That is good stuff also available is "Blue Block " made by Hurculese products it also stays some what pliable. The issue with teflon tape is most people start on the very first thread or even have it hang over and when it starts to thread it is cut and goes into the orfice. The cure is to start 1-2 threads up with your tape to elimate that.
