Pressure pot?

So i am thinking of getting the harbor freight pressure pot to help with casting.

I noticed a thread that talked about hooking the HF vacuum up to it also to create a vacuum. So my question is what difference do you get between pressure vs vacuum?

Can you give me some examples of when to use pressure and vacuum.

Do they both do generally the same thing? Complete newbie when it comes to this.

IHMO, to stabilize you use the vacuum. To cast you use pressure.

If you do a search for "pressure vacuum" (without the quotes) you with get some threads explaining the different views and uses.

There is also an excellent article in the library how to set up a pressure pot for casting/stabilizing.
