Hi Mike...I have one of those from Princess Auto. The one you show is pretty pricey but if you wait they put them on sale under $100. Not as cheap as the HF but you are not paying for the high cost of shipping from HF to Canada. Darrell Eisner

I've noticed it on sale a few times already - it just doesn't behoove me to buy it for 100 when it's so cheap in the states...

However, each HF I've gone to has not stocked that pot - I don't know why that is; I guess each store is different!

Did you mean HF or PA?

If you meant HF, and you head down there on occasion, maybe we need to talk about a big ol' group buy for us Canuckistanis... You know, a group buy where you'd do all the work and we'd benefit from your labour and big heart ;)

Regarding stock, I called the Ottawa PA store and they had it in stock, but no longer on sale. Nasty, nasty, bad people.

Cheers!

Gary

I live fairly close to the border, so I head down fairly often, Gary...unfortunately, I have yet to find a HF within driving distance (meaning 8 hour drive) that carries it yet...I'll let you know if I do, though!

Andrew

Hmm .. might be worth calling them up to see if you can order and have
them shipped to a particular store.. could save you shipping, since they
have to stock the store anyway..

just started looking into this and if you dowload their catalogue it says its 119.99 and they also have a 2L pot for 84.99

2L is still plenty big to cast atleased 10 blanks isnt it?

well if its not i think it would be perfect...well for me atleased. no need to cast 50 at a time...

we'll wait for the more experienced guys to chime in

I emailed them asking about the small pot. he said it can't be hooked up to a vacuume but will find a price for me if someone wants it without the spray gun and just the pot with fittings.

Another happy ending/tool gloat!

I attended a tool auction this AM, and amongst other things, was able to pick up a used PP for $20, complete with hoses and a gauge. I figured for this price, I'd take the risk. I have to clean it up at bit, but I'm excited to get started.

Mike,

Please feel free to look up "You SUCK!" in the dictionary...

;)

Cheers!

Gary (also in Ottawa and has never heard of a tool auction)
