I know these questions are going to invoke mostly opinions but I DO trust you guys opinions so thank you in advance for your help :)

I've noticed a lot of cheap pressure pots only go to 50 PSI max but a lot of you guys seem to be going to 70 PSI Max. Is more PSI better?

What PSI is needed to properly cast pen blanks?

Are there any pressure pots that are ready to go right out-of-the-box or do you have to drill, thread, install gauges and rig stuff up on all of them?

On the cheaper pots, is 50 PSI a safe max considering I need at least 40 PSI start with? Or should I buy a stronger pot?

Do you guys think I'll need a bigger tank than 5 gallons?

What max PSI do you guys think I need to keep in mind while choosing a pot? A 50 PSI max pot? An 80 PSI pot?

I really do trust you guys opinion so if there's anything you would have done differently or better, please let me know so I don't make the same mistakes. Thank you very much guys!! :)

I found my Binks pot on ebay for $60 shipped and it can do 80PSI before my safety valve blows (tank is rated for more). I am no expert but I think you want +++ pressure for forcing the PR or Alumilite into small voids in wood or such.
