I have been hunting for months for some museum grade-- AAAAA ---drop dead--- killer ---outrageous---extreme---birdeye Maple.
I talked with several folks ---I hunted every where---then I found this guy on a knife forum. He clained his blanks had hundreds of eyes.
We did some dealing---I did some begging--- then I sent him a bunch of money. Well after waiting for a month --it arrived today.
I am going to resaw it and do the math to see how much I have invested.
But anyway here's what it looks like.
