Hello everyone..
this is such a wonderful caring community.. Letting you know my 87 year old mother passed away this morning. We are leaving for Texas shortly for the funeral. She lived a wonderful and glorious life until the end when her body failed.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers and kind words. This was a tough trip, but it was tougher on my wife than me I think.. she has a pretty severe case of arthritis in her hips and back, and sitting in a car for 12-16 hours is really tough on her. She's a trooper and hardly complained, but I knew she was in pain.

My sisters were all pretty broken up, even though we knew this day was coming. Mom lived a good life, she worked very hard all her life and it just took it tole.
