Hey Guys,
I have a prayer request. I have a grandson that is almost 3 years old now and he was born with cleft lip and pallet. He is doing ok now, but before he was 1 year old he had to major operations, one to fix his lip and the other one to put his pallet in place. He had the pallet, it was all on the left side. Now we just found out that he is going to have to go back for yet another one. He will be going to cincinatti, Ohio on labor day, along with his mother, my stepdaughter, my wife and my wife's parents. They will be traveling in my father-in-law's car. We were very fortunate to be able to get him in the schriner's hospital, he will be under their care until he is an adult. My prayer request is for their traveling safety and the funds to get them there and back along with hotel fees. I want to say that if any one of you are schrines, God Bless you for the work for kids that you do. In the small town that my father-in-law lives, the Schriners have a big peanut boil every year during the week of labor day. My wife and I usually go down to help them a couple of days, but we wont get to this year. His surgery was scheduled for November, but we got word this week that it will be on Tuesday after labor day. Our funds are really tight right now, but I trually believe in the power of prayer, so please put this request on your list.

I really would appreciate it. Thanks
Keith

Lord, sometimes when I look in the mirror I'm not too happy with what I see. Please let me see me the way you made me, beautiful and perfect just as I am. Help me to hold this image in my mind and heart as I follow my life's path. Allow others to witness your light shining through me as I walk with confidence, grace and a smile on my face. Amen.

Keith,
I wish you and your family well in this endeavor. You should contact the Ronald McDonald House in Cincinnati. I am a pediatric RN and they provide housing for families of children who are in the hospital. The Social Worker with Shriner's Hospital should be able to connect you with the Ronald McDonald House to see if they have a room available for your family during this time.
Here is there website: www.rmhcincinnati.org and it has contact information.

Keith, your family will be in my prayers. I live just north of Cincinnati and if they need any kind of help while they are there just let me know and I will try and help out.

Praying for all involved.
There is a boy in my church. I believe he is 9. He just had his 9th operation. He is doing well, and I think he only has one more to go. I hope all goes well for your grandson in all the procedures to come as well.

Keith, your Grandson and Family will be in our prayers. My hat is off to the Shriners Hospitals for all the wonderful things they do.

I'll keep your family in my prayers at least one good though your grandson is at a highly qualified hospital.
