During the pouring of the Blue Skies PR blanks the other day, "the-one-that-must-be-obeyed" decided to pour a stopper blank, and I was told I would turn it today. So I did!

Not sure if I did the blank 'justice' but I tried....
I'm betting the blanks for pens will look just as good...

I for one say you did justice... that's a good looking stopper... my only criticism would be that the cone will make it tall and top heavy... I would have used the low profile stainless steel cones myself... you may ignore the criticism and take it as a job well done though.

Wouldn't a shorter(low profile) cone make it more top heavy?
BTW, I'd rather get one post replying with a "This would be better then this"....I like the kind words(makes my head difficult to get in-n-out of the house), but I get better ideas on how to do things that I'm not sure of doing with "________________" comments(Thank you)

These stoppers were from the only order I've ever made for them, so what I have right now is what I have. My neck order will more then likely be the RuthNiles stoppers....

Scott (gotta turn 'em though) B

I'm thinking the lower profile will move the stopper closer to the top of the bottle and be less top heavy... Ruth Niles puts out a very nice SS stopper... I like her stoppers and have used them.... PSI (I know people don't like them, but I have no problems with PSI) also has a version very similar to Ruth's... not sure of the pricing difference.

Great blank and great looking stopper. I use either the Ruth Niles stoppers or adjustable stoppers. PSI makes one but Williamwoodwrite has a style that has clear silicone parts rather than the white of the PSI ones.
