I just cast my first batch of PR on Monday and it turned out great except i don't think i mixed in enough catalyst. It is still really tacky and is still soft to the pressure so i was wondering if this blanks is ruined because it still isn't dry after 72 hours in an 80 degree shop or if it will eventually dry. how long does it usually take? (I'm using Michael's Castin Craft PR in a Silicon mold.)

It will eventually cure. Just set it aside for a while.
The CC is pretty brittle when turning, just a heads up.

If you have a toaster oven, that can trigger it to harden. I have even placed it in my home oven before I got the toaster oven.

170 degrees for 20-30 mins will fix the problem if you can take the smell in the house.

It only took one time in the house before the BOSS told me to go buy a toaster oven.

I didn't do it on purpose to get any permissions or anything.....

Polyester resins that are laminating resins, unless they have a surfacing wax added are air inhibited, that is they remain tacky so another layer of resin can be added. This is one of several reasons for post curing, to cause the tacky surface to cure.
