Anybody tried electronics cast in PR? I can think of many many many uses for cast electronics...

Not in a long time but I used to build small LED color organs and pot (cast)
them in epoxy for use in cars .

I'm thinking: LEDs in pens, shifter knobs, tap handles, etc, usb drives (MicroCenter has them dirt cheap all the time.), etc.

It would be possible to do a pen with surface mount LEDs on a flexable pc board .
The color organs I made were used as shifter knobs in several custom cars that friends had built and I had an underdash one that was really cool . Far Out Man:hypnotized:

How does the PR stand up to some of the electronic components cast?

I tried casting a Bose home theater system in PR, but for some reason
I can't turn it on anymore. The resin must be blocking the remote control
or something.

Each vehicle has different threads on the shifter. Mine will be for old VWs, so it'll be metric.
