From a recent cast I had this Copperhead Baron curing issue. I pulled this blank out of the mold and found that parts of it cured and parts are still like jelly. The top left of the pic(long tube) and the bottom right(short tube) are jelly when the rest is cured. And the rest of the blanks in the mold were cured just fine. They were all poured at the same time from the same container so for the life of me I can not figure this one out. Hopefully I can save this one without too much fuss.

my guess is, and it is just a guess, that this was the last blank poured and the MEKP was not mixed throughout and you had some PR that did not set up. Did your remaining PR set up in the cup?

The PR that was left in the cup did cure, that is what has me scratching my head on this one.
I have not had much luck with toaster ovens, in my experience my blanks tend to get serious bubbles when I have used one. Thanks for the replies.

What temp are you using in the oven? When I spoke with a PR company they recommend post cure at about 120*-140*. When I used PR I would post cut all of my blanks before trying to remove from the molds.

At this point I don't think you will create (or eliminate) bubbles!

The toaster oven will help it setup faster. I have had multi color pours where I forgot to put the MEKP in one of the colors. Poured one blank with mostly that color and it was very soft and mushy even after time in the oven. Eventually after several days/weeks, it did harden.
