Thinking of getting a Powermatic 3520B. Looking for comments.

Lot of lathe for just pens, but will work wonders for the bigger stuff.

Oh the little one with a 20 inch throw and only 35 inch usable bed length.

I love my 3520B. It was a huge upgrade from my Jet 1236 not only in the variable speed and horsepower but the weight. I can throw a large out of round blank on my PM and it will handle it without much of a problem. With my Jet, the blank had to be fairly balanced or the lathe would bounce around a lot.
If you can afford it, go for it!
