Does any one else have problems writing on "Post-It" notes? My pens (1 gel and 1 ball-point) hate writing on them and leave no ink MOST of the time. I can write on other paper and have no problems.

Are you using those new "smart post-it notes?" I haven't tried them but I've heard that they won't accept bad grammar or mis-spellings.

Yes, I've experience(d) this same problem. I suspect that it's the "wax" coating on the Post-It Notes.

I have not noticed post-its specifically but I do notice my pens do not want to write on any paper if I have touched it. it's like the oil from my skin prevents the ink from even flowing. Rollerballs are the worst for this. ballpoint sometimes.

Good old slimlines. They seem to write on anything. I keep a few around the house for note taking. Local sporting goods store bought one from me because it was the only pen they could get to write consistantly on hunting and fishing license paper.
