I guess this is my big day. I've hit 1000 posts in a little under 2 years here on IAP. It's really been quite a posting journey. In the beginning it was all asking questions. Then it was asking questions and actually answering some questions. Now it's mostly answering questions (sometimes I even give good answers:)) but that isn't because I don't have questions. I still have many questions but I just don't have the time to venture into new areas of pen making right now. I still read a lot on here and learn things all the time. I use what I read to make better pens and also to turn other things.

This is the only online forum I belong to. It really is a great place to learn and particpate in.

Thanks for having me here:).

Congratulations on your milestone... I had to go look to see what my count was.. surprised me... I'm also more windy than you.. averaged about 1000 post per year.. I think I need to shut up and listen more??

But this is a great place to learn.. even if you don't post and just read, you can pick up a ton of hints and tricks that makes the turning go easier, smoother and lots more fun. Believe it or not, there are days that all I do here is read... others I blab my head off, but...........

Congratulations and keep up the good work.

The 'blabber mouths' should keep talking as that's how everyone learnes. I go though quiet periods because of work. In November and December I don't think I posted anything because of work (I work in retail) and didn't turn a single pen either. Now I'm back posting and spending a little time in the shop.
