Polymer Clay pens

I used to be the only pen maker in the house lol but Kristin and I have ventured into Polymer Clay together, she likes to make the blanks and me, well I like to make the canes and have had a couple lessons from Toni Street and of course youtube videos. Just wanted to show off a few we have done together. I do all the finishing of the blank with sanding and CA finish.

Let me tell you it is a learning process and a ton of youtube videos plus a little help from some clay experts on a few facebook groups I joined.

Those are beautiful pens! I've always been fascinated with the clay polymer process. A question though: Are the pens heavy when made from these polymers?

They seem to feel a touch heavier but not much, the first ones we did I ended up removing the clay and did another as it was way to thick but learning as we go.
