I got the knob cleaned, polished and assembled.
My wife really likes it, what does everyone else think??
I hope the FIL likes it... if not, I'll figure out a way to mount it on the lathe.

It goes in a '36 Plymouth. The original knob is plastic so he wanted an alum. one. I'll post a pic of the car.
 
I was ohhhhh so close.. Thats a real nice ride, I don't think I have a picture of the Dodge but I might have one of my 29 ford and 48 ford street rods, I'll look tonight in my files, street rodding just got to expensive for me...

I know... it can be quite expensive. My wallet couldn't sustain it. I just get to do the work on it.

29 ford really sweet looking car but even after $$$$ in front end still road like a meat wagon

Maybe not as sweet looking (except for the girl) but road like a million dollars and thats me the one with out the boobs but with the beard. Boy do I wish I still had my '48 and that shop...
