Last night after my basketball game we lost a senior boy in a head on collision and two girls are in the hospital with injuries. A driver was on the wrong side of a divided highway. The young man was my basketball manager and statistician. We were very close and shared a love for technology. The Athletic Director and I opened the gym up last night for anyone needing a place to be. Around 60 or 70 students, parents, and faculty came together to begin the healing process. (We have 110 students in high school) A local priest led the group in prayer and several of us addressed the group. We have a long hard week ahead of us, so any prayers or thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Indeed sorry to hear of your loss. It is a shame that anything happens like this to a young person who has their whole life in front of them. Wife and I will have you and everyone else in our prayers.

Add our prayers to the list. We have lost a couple of local teenagers to car accidents lately. It affects the whole community. I pray to keep my grandkids safe from this. Granddaughter drives 40 miles one way to college daily and I worry for her.

My heart aches for your loss coach. My prayers and thought are with you all. it does sound like you are taking the steps needed to head in the right direction. Strength and courage to you for this coming week and even the days beyond.

so sorry to hear of the loss. It will take time to heal. We had a young man die from a football injury 2 years ago at our kids high school. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers

Thank all of you for your kind thoughts. I have been at the school all day with a bunch of the kids getting pictures and music together. I am going to make a photo slide show for the rosary. It is nice to be with the students to begin healing.

My husband & I know your soul aches for the potential lost but rejoice that you are able to share your caring teachers heart with the students who still need you. Prayers are sent for the entire community.

Blessings,
Terry

What a shame, so sorry for you and the family. I never did sleep well until my kids came home each night. Still have that same feeling when the come home to visit and go out with friends. Absolutely a parents worst nightmare. Strong thoughts your way.

You got my prayers. It's difficult, but we will never have the answers to these things while we are here on this earth. It sounds like you have a very close and strong community there and that is a wonderful thing at a time like this.
