For my mom. On Monday she left work after a half-day, complaining of a headache and not feeling well. On Tuesday, she told my dad she felt a little better, but came home after only going to work for an hour. By midday Tuesday, she was having trouble breathing, and complaining of a terrible headache. She was taken to the ER that afternoon and by the end of the night, she was in the ICU. Wednesday morning she gave them permission to put her on a ventilator so she didn't have to work so hard to breathe and her body could put more effort to fighting off the infection that she has.

Nobody knows yet what is really going on with her. The doctors have done some tests and blood work, but have not come up with any diagnosis for the cause of all this. She is sedated, on strong antibiotics, and medicine to keep her blood pressure up, which had fallen dangerously low Tuesday afternoon.

Hopefully we will have some new information later today and we can move in a positive direction.

Lord, You invite all who are burdened to come to You. Allow your healing hand to heal me. Touch my soul with Your compassion for others. Touch my heart with Your courage and infinite love for all. Touch my mind with Your wisdom, that my mouth may always proclaim Your praise. Teach me to reach out to You in my need, and help me to lead others to You by my example. Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring me health in body and spirit that I may serve You with all my strength. Touch gently this life which You have created, now and forever. Amen.

My prayers are sent for your mother. I also send prayers that the doctors are given wisdom and insight, let the problem be revealed.

I hope all goes well Brian! She will definitely be in our prayers. If you need anything we are less than an hour away and more than willing to help. God Bless!

I am praying, My sister just recently was sick, she went to the hospital for four weeks I know just how frightening it can be when there aren't answers.

Lord I lift up the entire family, take care of all thier needs , I ask that there will be a speedy recovery and that you grant peace. In times of turmoil that can sometimes be the best. I ask that you had will guide this family and that they will have opportunties to witness to the nurses and physcians around that room. In Jesus name Amen

All my family's prayers and best wishes are being sent to you as I type.

My God grant your mother the touch of His healing Hands. And may He in His wisdom gift the doctors the knowledge needed to treat and heal your mum quickly without further upset and pain.

Keep strong and hold onto your faith. Please keep the forum posted of your mum's progress.

Best regards and wishes.
