I am brand new at pentuning which I am doing on my small metal lathe. Iam looking for some plaine colored blanks to represent college colors. Think dark green, navy blue, orange, white (very necessary),maroon, red,
I plan on making pens, the top in one color and the bottom in the other color. Every thing I read is about casting, molding, stabilizing etc. I just want to start by making pens for my many college graduate grandchildren from many schools

I've developed a number of recipes for school color pens.
(most of which aren't in the Color Library yet).

I was doing ribbons- I know there's Navy Blue, Maroon, and White as well
as some other colors. Making solid blanks would be no problem-
PR or alumilite (water or crystal clear).

Drop me a PM and I'll see if I've got what you want, or we can develop it.

Bill, the problem that you're going to run into is that Tennessee Orange isn't the same as Clemson Orange, etc.

If you want to get close to the right colors, you are going to have to get someone to cast them custom. Or do it yourself. There are a couple people here on the sight that have done some of the colors in the past I know.

The other thing you need to be real careful of is licensing. Sport team colors are usually protected and if you advertise them as "Tennessee Volunteer pens" or anything similar, they can go after you if you haven't gotten the license. You can make them as gifts, but you can't profit from them legally without the license.
