Pink Granite - first cast

So I made a mold and screwed up the first cast. In a good way. Nothing went as planned, but I think I learned some things from my mistakes - like sometimes a mistake becomes a technique upon further review This turned out looking like tru-stone a bit in my opinion:

Hopefully a pen will come tomorrow. I'm a little short on longer single tube pens, which is what I'd like to put this on. I think I have a zen stuffed away someplace. If not, I'll put it on an electra.

I'm also going to try to replicate this tomorrow with a slight adjustment to the accent color. The more I look at this, the more I like it. The pink came out exactly the way I wanted.
