A quick update. The paddles arrived last week, but the ball company didn't do a customs paper, so they got returned. But they have been re-shipped and should arrive in the next day or so. My son tells me the guys there are excited, and their guy-in-charge even made a presentation about the paddles, and will do the balls when they arrive.

If they are shipping to an APO or an FPO there shouldn't be any customs paperwork involved. I ship a package to Iraq every 2 weeks and have never filled out any extra paperwork.

I have never shipped anything to the Navy, but we may be using a different system to ship things. My packages go to a stateside base and then are sent out from there. Whatever works. As long as the troops get the package, the shipping isn't important.

Johnnie, when we send things we are having it brought over by internal mail, not through postal service. If you are shipping with the USPS you will have to do the paperwork if it is going overseas.

WooHoo! Just got an email from Jeremy that the balls have arrived. He said a couple ogot damaged, but they should have plenty to last a long time, and that these are much better than what they had!
