Pine cone casting - what color PR?

Still very new to casting, and I'm having a hard time picking good complimentary colors. For those who have cast pinecones, what color have you found to be the most complimentary of the pinecone? For those who sell pinecone pens, what colors are your customers drawn to first?

For blanks that I create, red/orange/yellow seem to be very popular.

I used copper mica in the one I just posted

Pr is not a great choice, not that you can't do it but the bond is weaker, blank more brittle and prone to bubbles and voids. Alumilite is much better for this

There are so many choices :redface:. Depends when you are selling - mother's day pink, purple, blue; father's day black & silver, gold, red; Xmas green or gold :biggrin:
