I am wanting to start casting. question is this
will any powdered pigments work in p.r or allumalite?
If not which pigments work best.
I have some pigments that disolve in water and are very bright colors.

The Coastal Scents Mica everyone uses is a powder so my guess would be yes. Try it out for a small amount and report back.

Water based pigments are made to dissolve and mix with WATER! The pigments such as the mica and earth powders from coastal scents can be used.
Water based powdered paints are for use in water based products only!
Oil/solvents based products generally can be used with the like kind of product.
The proper dye @ Hobby Lobby is about $6.00and change which will last a while. With the 40% off coupon it is about $4.11 each one ounce bottle. Hobby lobby coupon
It changes weekly as to the dates
