Pigmented mica

Does anyone know what is used to color mica? Will pigment powder (iron oxide) do it?

I'm not sure why you're asking. If you want colored mica there is a lot of it commercially available. Pearl Ex, for example, has dozens of colors and is readily available both online and at art and hobby stores.

I am already using Pearl Ex. I would just like to try and create some of my own colors that aren't available. There is also a new one coming out called Caster's Choice. Huge array of awesome colors compared to Pearl Ex. And cheaper too.

The only place that carries the new Caster's Choice is Turners Warehouse. It's cheaper than the others and way better colors! Check them out!
