Going to pull my camper down for the week end . Anyone know if there is anything going on . ( dont they have some sort of fireworks around knoxville that week end ) . Just checking .......

Go to mypigeonforge.com and it should have the activities that are going on. There may be a car show going on as there generally is this time of the year.

If you are going in on Friday, the traffic will be terrible when you get off at exit 407 on to route 66 so be patient and take your time. There is construction starting just south of the Smoky Mountain Knife Works and it goes all the way to where 441 come in at the Sevier County Court House. The good thing about the area is that the gas is the cheapest around. I paid 2.32 at Kroger with the Kroger Plus card last week.

I have never been there with out some delay or bad traffic. being a holiday the road work shouldnt be going on . but as allways the traffic will be bad. glad to here the gas prices are down.
