sweet, i was on the hunt for some today but my poor little chainsaw wouldn't be able for them. Came across one trunk about 13 metres long

It'll be a couple months before I'm willing to have him ship it my way. I don't like paying to ship all the moisture they contain when just pulled out of the ground, but yeah, I'll be getting some I'm sure. He sends me some pretty much whenever I ask.

I just locked in a deal with another person whose brother-in-law own about 100 acres of bog land towards the west coast too. My first piece should be here in a week or so to check quality.

When I get a chance, I think a trip may be in order (I think LOML would love to hit Dublin again and I know I'd enjoy a tour of the St. James Gate Brewery) and arranging for a container of Irish woods to come my way.

Mike,
When you get to St James Gate, pull a pint of Extra Stout for me in the Gravity Bar. MAN what a view of Dublin. I was there about two weeks ago.

Cav, he says that the biggest piece he cut was 20 inches thick and 2 foot long. Said some of the trunks were 30 inches in diameter and up to 50 foot long. I want some so bad it's pitiful. (only problem is they will crack as they dry )

Larry, we may have to find a place local to spend the night (assuming they will kick me out at some point), but will do.
