I posted everything on my site so as not to hog bandwidth here.

Appreciate the thought, but not necessary. We have loads of bandwidth and plenty of server space.

Uploads here are preferable, so when you move, delete, etc. the photo we don't end up with a link that goes nowhere.

Bad, yes, but I've seen worse.

Mind a little website suggestion?

Your link colors are too light for me on the white background, and I have excellent eyesight. I think the background color of your sidebar would be nice for the link color on the white background.

Better?

Made it the same as the left. May need to Bold them though.

Yep, that's better.

As I recall...

General Motors, Ford and Chrysler put the squeeze on American Motors Corporation (AMC).

AMC won the lawsuit and you can find Jeeps with GM 350 engines, Ford trannies and of course Dana axles made by Chrysler in Mobile, Alabama. Plus they got a boatload of cash. Didn't help, AMC is long gone...

My parents had an AMC Wagon that stopped when the ignition module got hot, same problem that plagued Chrysler... Solution? Move module...

If you are talking about the Jeep I had, you are company off. Mine was the last of the Kaiser Jeeps. AMC bought Jeep in mid to late 1970, mine was built in January.

Those brakes are not the worst I have seen. My dad is a mechanic by trade and he showed me a picture of brakes that he had fixed on a PT Cruiser. The rear brakes were separated into two pieces the pads had gone completey including the fins on the inside of the rotor. Needless to say they needed a lot of work to make them work again, Everything associated with the brake system in the rear had to be replaced.

Brakes are the MOST important part of your vehicle. Your life is on the line.

When you hear a squeal, FIX 'EM! Replacing pads isn't hard, even on my old Saab. Just do it and be done. That rotor could shatter and take your truck and anybody inside with it!

(Can you tell I've had a scare or two from bad brakes in my life?)

I love the old American pickups and cars and prefer the Jeep too.
My first company 'car' in South Africa was a wonderful F350.
I only cried for a week when they decided it needed to be changed:frown:

Problem is, they never squealed. About a week before I changed them I started hearing a grinding noise, but that's it. No little squeaker or anything. I have less than 3k on the truck since I bought it, so this has been a long time coming.

Ugh. I hate that. Some cheap pads I put on the wife's Exploder did that. The little tab that makes noise when the pads are worn never made noise. She never noticed they were bad and it wasn't until I took the truck to get through the snow one day that I felt the roughness in the pedal. Took a new rotor and pads to get it back up to snuff. Never buying cheap pads again.
