I was out yesterday killing time when I found an old music shop. I figured I would go and get some guitar picks to use as pen accents. While I was in there I asked the owner about pick guard and if he sold it. he pointed to a wall in the back and said that it does not sell well at all and he has had some there for many years and if I wanted some he would give me a good deal. I said if the price is right I'll take all you got. Turns out he did not have all that much but I did walk out with 4 pieces of black & white for some guitar that has long since went out of production for $2.00 each. I should have enough to last me a while.

Moral of the story is that you might want to scout out the old music shops and see if you can pick up some at a nice price. What can they say but “no, we don’t have any

I go to the local shops often to see what they have when they are cleaning shop. I have lots of NOS parts that are not made any more that I use on my gitars and people still want these old pieces so they bring premium buck.
