Saw a few of these blanks on Exotics and had to at least give one a try, and I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome One of Jeff's Picasso blanks dressing a Jr. Retro. This was a pleasure to turn because it was actually a slight challenge. The difference in density between the alumilite (I assume) and some of the different woods took a pretty steady hand, and trying to finish without the wood bleeding onto the white, well...Great idea for using up those scraps from your work Jeff, a super simple idea that IMO works well:wink: Thanks for looking, and as always, any comments/criticism (no, I don't mind criticism at all, that's how I learn) and all that fun stuff is welcome...
