Photos Question

Well here is my latest dumb question. I see some photos are posted from a members album-which I know how to do-others are posted as thumbnails-which I don't know how to do. Could someone explain to me the difference and how to post as thumbnails? I think they look better? Thanks.

When you go to post, look on the top row of icons for the Paper Clip.
You can select photos to attach that way, and they will come out as
a thumbnail that will enlarge when you click on it.
