Photos in "Latest Photos" banner

Hello all; How does one go about having a picture showing up in the "Latest Photos" banner?

I have posted a number of photos over the last few days, but they never seem to make the banner, although one did a couple of weeks ago.

The latest photos are reverse chronological so you should see yours as soon as you upload it. The random photo strips are just that, so there's no predicting when yours will appear.
