Serge,
I followed a post here the other day and found what I believe is the best photo software I have ever used.

Get the "Image viewer"
Amazing!!

Serge,
Ron Mc probably has best idea of using faststone.. don't know anything about it, but will be checking it out later.. and not knowing what program your IT put on the systems, but most have an option field that should allow you to change the default on your pictures.

I tried Faststone and didn't find it as useful as Picasa, but that's only my opinion. I used to use Picasa, tried Gimp for a while which is very powerful, but no matter how many times I installed it I was never able to get the Help function to work. I downloaded a trial copy of Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 and after using it for a few days, I found I really liked it so I bought it. I think that Adobe also has a trial download of Photoshop Elements, think the latest version is 6. I don't know much about Microsoft Picture It, but I believe it's more of an organizing tool than an editing tool.

If you Use XP or above this might prove to be useful.

It's free and is a little easier to learn than the Gimp. The Gimp is a spectacular program but it does have a steep learning curve.

I have been using Picasa, loaded the faststone programme and hated it, deleted it out of my computer next day![V]
Will continue with Picasa..[:p]
