Perfume pens

Had something strange happen a lil while ago. A customer who bought 8 perfume pens called me and says she'd tried loading several of them and they wouldn't take the perfume. Says it either ran out the small vent hole at the base of the fitting or if she stopped that up it would just sit there and not soak in. I was dumbfounded I've never had this happen or had another customer complain. I want to make this customer happy but don't have a clue why the perfume won't soak down into the applicator. Anyone had similar experiences? I've got to get back to her with a solution and I haven't figured one out!

Find out if she is dipping the wick in the perfume as per the instructions, or what it sounds like, she pulled the tip and is trying to "pour" purfume into the holder. Instructions on filling are on the sheet that comes with the kit. I make copies of just the "how to fill" part and send with the ones I make.
