Delivered to the vet next door to this place today. They are going out of business and the current prices are 10-50% off. Located at Dequinder and 11 mile, Warren, MI. I don't know if Performance Tool is a chain and they are all going under or what. It is a drool factory inside, but alas I had no free cash to spend. Sure would have liked to buy the Jet metal working lathe they had in there. Lots for woodworking and automotive type tools, no actual wood. Not a lot of lathe supplies, but great opportunity for those expensive accessories such as calipers of all kinds, router bits and drill bits. Nothing more expensive than router bits and carving bits..sure they might be as cheap as $30 for some reasonable quality bits and a lot more for others <speaking regular prices of course>, but it's the quantity of bits a man needs in his shop that is killer. I asked the question and the answer was that the close out of the store would likely last 2-3 more weeks.

They also have/had a store on Telegraph, just below I96 or so, close to Detroit Diesel - at least when I lived there. Lots of metal lathes they had then, all a bit out of reach.

Their prices are not cheap at their website. Performance Tool Center dot com. I am guessing that the sale prices are only on premises.

Didn't know they had more stores. I only know that this location is closing. I hate to see another place close, especially in this state, but the other side of my conscience says take advantage while you can. There was a metal lathe there, I did drool on it, sorry bout that. It was $1049. Not sure what the percentage off was at this time. Every week obviously gets better, but as it gets better, the good stuff gets gone.

I was just up at Wholesale Tool near Hoover and 10 mile (if I remember correctly). They have a whole bunch of used milling stuff there for really cheap, if that is useful to anyone.
