I was watching How it's made this morning and they were showing how wood pens are made. The entire process was covered: cutting blanks, drilling, glueing in tubes, turning, finishing, and assembly, as well as laminating wood for blanks. I wonder who the penturner was.

The person doing the work is Denis Lefebvre.

I did some research from the official How it's Made website.

By the way that show rocks. I like to see how differnt stuff is made and am supprised by some things. One of the things I found strange is that paintballs are made of food grade materials.

We pick it up on the discovery channel and I'm enthralled every time it's on.

Curtis, I agree with you. The music is sooooo repetitive. However, it is better than that 'rap crap' I have to endure when stopped at the red light or having some inconsiderate fool passes my house at 0400 hrs. Now, just where did I put my H&K .308 rifle? :D

We get that program here as well. :DI think the one with the hand made pen was on about a month ago. I'm surprised that we got it so soon. We normally get your programs when they're about 3 years old.
Our latest New Yankee Workshop is already two years old.:(

Like you love the show as a matter of fact that is what brought me into this great found hobby. Saw it about 14 months ago late one night and had to do some research and well the rest is history.
And yes have to do something about that music..

I see things are not much different in Tucker than in Columbus Ga eh...

I actually had to move to a different part of town to escape the boom-boom-booming that rattled the windows...

When you finish cleaning up Tucker, can ya drive to Columbus and help us out? :D

I wonder why he didn't check with all of us before revealing all these secrets!?!?!?!?!?

Marc ... I have yet to be able to run any of the noisey pests out of Tucker. I spend most of my free time at WalMart telling the head to foot covered 'things' to get out of our country. Rapper-Crappers are safe for now! :D
